With almost 15 years’ experience in the industry and an avid believer of lifelong learning, I continue to learn and up-skill with new technologies and practices, through video learning, reading books, attending seminars and attending adult and further education programs.
I’ve been involved in freelance design since 2002 where I initially provided services in Graphic Design, Digital, Large Format, Textile and Substrate Printing, Marketing, Photo Restoration. Maintenance, Office Skills, ECDL, ECDL Advanced, Desktop Publishing and Web Authoring, for over three years. During this period; in 2013, I returned to education to up-skill at IT Carlow, where I studied for a Higher Diploma in Digital Media Design, which was delivered over three evenings.
In September 2015, I took a break from freelance work due to an ongoing health condition and returned to education at Dublin Institute of Technology to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma in Web and Mobile Applications where I graduated with a Distinction in May 2016. Having the opportunity to upgrade to a Master’s Degree, I undertook the masters project for a further six months and in February 2017, I graduated with a first-class honors Masters in Creative Digital Media with a specialisation in Web and Mobile Applications.
